Where our alumni went
Debate is not the point. What students take from it — the ability to structure a thought under pressure and defend it in front of strangers — is what shows up later.
Alumni have gone on to university programs in law, medicine, journalism, public policy, and engineering. Several now coach here. One is a city council aide, one runs a community radio station, and one told us the most useful thing she got from us was the confidence to quit a job that was making her miserable.
We track outcomes honestly, including the students who stopped competing and the ones we could not reach. Those numbers are in our annual impact report.
